Paris

Last weekend we went to Paris, sans kids, as Alexandra offered to look after them for two nights. This was much appreciated by us, and we had a great time, although obviously we missed Ilona and Bluet - so much that we bought them bubbles, crowns and pink/purple models of the Eiffel Tower (or 'Tower Building', as Ilona calls it). They were very excited to see us when we returned on Sunday afternoon.

Easter

In preparation for Easter there is some kind of child-friendly activity going on at Sihl City, our local family friendly shopping mall. So Alexandra took Bluet and Ilona there this afternoon, where they proceeded to get their faces painted. I wonder how much of this will still be left by bathtime......

York: The Movie

Last month when we went to York I took a number of short videos. Here they are strung together into an almost feature-length short film.

Hats

Just as Ilona has learned to wear gloves and hats, it looks like spring is coming. The sun is out, and hopefully that means more playing in the garden.

These are pictures I took of Bluet and Ilona - they chose the poses after I told them I was going to take a photo for Emily while she was away

Skiing

Untitled Untitled

Last weekend Bluet went back to the mountain for her second skiing lesson, and this time we all went with her. This meant that Ilona got to do some sledging. When we got to the mountain it was snowing a lot, as you can see. Fortunately we dress our kids in bright clothes, so they can be seen in the blizzard.
