Driving back from Missouri

Spot the cat

Genuinely the view from our hotel room in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio

Things to do in Missouri during a pandemic

Here are some activities from Missouri including canoeing and camping overnight on the river, climbing benches at Sam A Baker state park, driving tractors, visiting Emily’s aunt (and using her indoor trampoline), and walking around looking at the wild life

The Appalachian Trail

Last weekend we walked almost exactly 0.1% of the Appalachian Trail - it runs from Maine to Georgia, 2200 miles and some people do it in one go over several months. At our rate of progress, we only have to go on 999 more hikes to finish it. We’re off again this morning to do a little more.

Rasberrying

This is from just before we left for Missouri.

The kids out picking wild (feral) raspberries round our street. They got enough for Bluet to bake us muffins which we enjoyed as a breakfast snack in the car on the big trip.

Wilder at topstone.

We went with the Lyons canoeing down the housatonic River. Here the girls are waiting to get ready. Below is the pizza we ate when we got home.
