More farewelling to New York

Before I forget what we actually did, here are the rest of the photos of Bluet and Emily's farewell tour from a couple of weekends back. So looking over the pictures to refresh the memory, it appears we took Bluet to the whole foods market bar for lunch on Saturday, then headed to Barnes and Noble, where Bluet ran around like a crazy person. Then on Sunday we went to Haru for sushi, where Bluet enjoyed the miso soup and the avocado (acou cacou) that we removed from the rolls for her. After that, a farewell trip to the ancient playground. Just about covers all our favourite New York locales.

Slide day

This weekend I am looking after Bluet whilst Emily visits Houston - I am joining her on Monday. So far we have done the washing and been to the ancient playground, where Bluet went down all the slides about 27 times each. After this she was exhausted and is now napping. I also discovered that she does not really like pain au chocolat, except for the chocolate bit, although they were not Tesco's finest, but a pale imitation. Uh oh, I hear Bluet calling from her bed.

I guess I'd better go.

Guided tour

Saturday, when the morning was still young and few others were out and about, Bluet and I found ourselves in the ancient playground. Alone, Bluet was able to run free, and go anywhere, as you can see in these videos. Afterwards, we went for Brunch with Michelle and Alan and Linnea and Astrid, and Bluet almost stole a teaspoon. Then, the Zoo, where they played in parallel.
