weekend

This weekend we were hoping it would be warm and sunny, enough to BBQ. Unfortunately it wasn't. I can't remember what we actually did except discover that it is illegal for children to go to the cinema in Switzerland until they are 6. Even if accompanied by an adult to a kids film like Cinderella. Crazy, right? This is very sad news as I very much enjoyed taking Bluet to the Lego movie last year and there are three more of those on the way. We will have to go to the cinema every time we leave the country now.

Numbers

Today Bluet is supposed to take her favourite toy to school to share. Her favourite toy is probably this mat filled with numbers that you may recognise from New York, but it doesn't seem right to send her to school with a giant "6" as her favourite toy. Anyway, here she is a couple of days ago interacting with her numbers. She really does love them, and will happily count up to 10(approximately correctly) or ride on your shoulders pointing out every number she sees.

Only baby out in the drizzle

This morning we had the ancient playground to ourselves as Bluet was the only baby to brave the light drizzle. We had a fun-filled time. The other video is of Bluet talking to Grover whilst we waited for the lift. It is a couple of days old.

You can teach a young baby new tricks

Over New Year, Aunt Abatha, whilst juggling 3 kids, found time to kindly teach Bluet how to clap her hands. At 5.30AM on the 2nd of January, I took this video.

Bluet was happier to be awake at this time than I.
