Last night after school and before dinner it was moderately warm so we went outside and played some sport - Bluet played tennis, Wilder football and Ilona basketball. Then this morning - Wilder's long naps at school are meaning he keeps on waking up (and waking us) around 4AM, so we asked his day care to shorten his nap time. This means he needs something quiet to do when he is woken up and the other kids are sleeping. So now he goes to his school with a school bag, filled with books and duplo and cars. As you can see he would very much like to ride the school bus too, but the bag is good enough for now.

The Weekend
Obviously the best part of the weekend was watching Wimbledon. We were able to watch the first set of Andy Murray's glorious triumph at home, steadfastly ignoring Bluet's cries of 'Watch Elmo'. Emily got her tennis racket out and Bluet ran around hitting her football with it. We got her to say 'come on Andy' once or twice, but she did seem to think she was watching baseball.
For the second set we took Bluet outside to run some errands and get breakfast. Fortunately the game was long enough that we returned home for the end of the triumphant third set.
Speaking of sport Bluet also received a parcel from her Nana with some new Cardinals gear for the summer, which she was very pleased with.
