Lost tooth II/Wilder on the stairs

Bonus picture of Wilder on the stairs

Monday night while in the bath, Ilona lost/pulled out her second tooth, the one on the top

Bonus picture of Wilder on the stairs, just after he got up yesterday morning

Shortly after Ilona emerged with the $2 she'd found under her pillow from the 'tooth fairy'

Flying visit

This weekend we had a quick visit from Abatha (or Abita as Wilder says), Lila (Nina as per Wilder) and Nate (still Nate). Wilder is still asking where they are every morning since they went home. We showed them what we could of our local surroundings including:

Friday lunchtime we all got to go to Ilona's classroom to hear her read her story about when she lost her first tooth.

We managed a walk outside at Putnam Park

And after German on Saturday morning, lunch at the Rye Ridge Deli in Stamford

Gap toothed Ilona

Yesterday Ilona lost her first tooth (it was hanging on by a thread, so she let Emily pull it out while we were eating dinner). She was so happy (she wanted a loose tooth for months before she finally got one, and one time she told us she had 7 loose teeth at once). When she got home she decided she needed to wash it, and it went down the sink. So she wrote a note to the tooth fairy and left it under her pillow, and in the morning $2 was there - crisis averted!

Teeth

Untitled

Bluet lost another tooth, as you can see (she has 2 new ones coming through). The tooth fairy came a day late [because of forgetfulness on the part of the fairy]. Bluet told us this was probably because she had lost the tooth that fell out ('somewhere in the kitchen'), so was not under the pillow; as the previous tooth she lost (and lost) was also not under the pillow, but the tooth fairy was not late, this must've meant that the second time the tooth fairy must've come by, and not found a tooth under the pillow, and as Bluet had her mouth shut whilst sleeping the fairy couldn't see whether or not the tooth was gone, and therefore had to come back to check again the next day before leaving the money.
