Our for lunch

So Friday 2 weeks ago, we all headed out for lunch at PQ. As you can see, Gus' head is covered by a hat. This is because he had by this point developed chicken pox. We played outside the restaurant

And then onwards to the Zurichorn park, which was popular with everyone because of the space to run around, the sand, the slides and the swings and the sun

Visitors

So yes, 2 weeks ago today (already!) we had visitors - Simon and Angela, Bluet's cousin Della and Della's baby Gus (according to Bluet) came to Switzerland for the first time. Fortunately I took lots of photographs so I can remember what we did. Our visitors arrived late Wednesday night, so Thursday was our first day with the four cousins together.

So off we headed for the bus and into town.



We made it to the toy shop, and the Zurich pond, and then it was time to go home by tram.



Back at home Della and Bluet caught up on Morph. I think they had a lot of fun together - they shared a bed every night, and when we headed home from Spain, Bluet asked whether her cousin would still be at our Switzerland house.

weekend

This weekend we were hoping it would be warm and sunny, enough to BBQ. Unfortunately it wasn't. I can't remember what we actually did except discover that it is illegal for children to go to the cinema in Switzerland until they are 6. Even if accompanied by an adult to a kids film like Cinderella. Crazy, right? This is very sad news as I very much enjoyed taking Bluet to the Lego movie last year and there are three more of those on the way. We will have to go to the cinema every time we leave the country now.

the other day

The other day on the tram Ilona started saying 'Mama, Mama' and pointing at the window, even though Emily was standing right next to her. Eventually we worked out that she thought the lady in this advert was Emily. See what you think.
